Medical Director of the Saskatchewan Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission, he has made a significant contribution to the field of addictions, greatly influencing attitudes to this serious problem. He has shown a steadfast commitment to the community, as evidenced by his work as National President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and by his unstinting efforts on behalf of numerous cultural, social and religious causes.
