A Saskatchewan teacher, she has given thousands of Canadian children the lifelong tools of reading and writing through her Blended Sound and Sight Method. Through her dedicated efforts, she has instilled the love of knowledge in students and teachers in the western provinces by meeting individual needs, by promoting learning by doing and by totally engaging children's senses and feelings in the world of words.
