David Magee is a leading authority in orthopedic and sports physical therapy in Canada. Physiotherapist, administrator and professor, he is best known for authoring Orthopedic Physical Assessment, a training and reference textbook used globally by health professionals. He has helped bring many Canadian Olympians, and amateur and professional athletes back into the game, notably as a long-time physiotherapist for the Edmonton Oilers and the National Synchronized Swimming Team. In addition, he gives back to the greater community, operating a free clinic out of his research lab for the past 30 years.
