A passionate advocate of the Canadian legal system, she has served the Family Court Bench, and has written and lectured in the areas of young offenders, child abuse, family law and marriage reconciliation. Responsible for the establishment of the first court-centred marriage conciliation service in Edmonton, a model for other Canadian courts, she has also written about the Free Trade Agreement and the Meech Lake Accord.
