Following a distinguished military career, he has become the Senior Historian with the Francophone Historical Section at the Department of National Defence. He is recording the history of Canadian aviation and is specifically devoting his efforts to documenting the participation of francophones in Canadian military activity since 1763. He is thus making an important contribution to Canada's military history and to the fellowship of its two founding peoples.
