A respected businessman in the field of telecommunications, he has demonstrated social commitment not only in his professional milieu, but also to the arts and humanitarian causes. In particular, he has devoted a great deal of energy to the Laval University Foundation where he has established a chair in optical telecommunications, one of the first industrial chairs in Quebec.
