A farmer from Saint-Zéphirin, he has, for many years, been President of Agropur, an agri-food cooperative in Granby, the largest dairy cooperative in Canada. Not only has he profoundly influenced the development of agricultural cooperation in Quebec for thirty years, but, as a master breeder, he has introduced pioneering techniques which have influenced the development of the Holstein breed in Canada.
