Denis Vaugeois has been popularizing Canadian history for more than four decades. As a leading historian, author and publisher, as well as a sought-after lecturer, he is noted for co-founding Les éditions du Boréal Express and Les éditions du Septentrion. He has devoted his career to advancing Canadian history and culture throughout the French-speaking world. In addition, he has held a number of positions within the provincial government through which he has helped develop libraries, museums and information centres in Quebec.
