For most of her life she has been serving the less fortunate, having started the Comox Valley Friendly Visitors Service to attend to the needs of the elderly, shut-ins, the neglected and infirm. As a representative on the Family Court Committee and co-ordinator of the B.C. Council for the Family, her influence extends beyond all borders of religions and organizations and has a great impact on the communities of the whole area.
