This businessman and former Senator has founded a long-term intervention program for young people at risk. Partners for Youth gathers and mobilizes community resources in an effort to support teenagers who have experienced abuse, are in conflict with the law, or suffer from low self-esteem. Intensive counselling combined with adventure activities teach participants life skills such as anger management, decision-making and team work. Today, as a result of his guidance and conviction, Partners for Youth is a model for similar programs across the country.
