Gwen Thompson has nurtured Canadian musical talent for over 30 years. A violinist, she is also widely recognized as an outstanding and inspirational teacher. She has shared her love of music and her expertise with students at various schools and music programs, including the Vancouver Academy of Music, the University of Western Ontario and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Co-founder of the acclaimed tango group Viveza Ensemble, she has also recorded and performed with numerous orchestras across Canada.
