Martine Roy advocates for diversity, inclusion and equity in 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across Canada. She co founded Pride at Work Canada, chairs the LGBT Purge Fund, and serves as Quebec and Eastern Canada regional manager of 2SLGBTQ+ Business Development at TD Bank Group. In response to the LGBT Purge—a period of systemic discrimination notably within the Canadian Armed Forces from the 1950s to the 1990s—she launched a class action lawsuit that resulted in a historic settlement and apology.
