Michel Goulet is one of the leading sculptors of his generation. Daring and innovative, he helped to renew public art and has created over 40 permanent works found in Canada and abroad. His sculptures and installations, referencing everyday objects, have also been shown in major exhibitions. He has also distinguished himself as a theatre and opera set designer, and has taught at the University of Ottawa and the Université du Québec à Montréal, where he was considered an outstanding educator.
