      Hailed as one of Canada's most distinguished anthropologists, Bruce Trigger is also renowned and respected around the world for his work in history and archaeology. He is an innovative thinker whose books and publications challenge people to question widely accepted beliefs and stereotypes, such as the role of Native cultures in history. His two-volume work focussing on the Huron people and the fur trade, The Children of Aataentsic: A History of Huron People to 1660, is a classic in its field.
