An accomplished historian and author, Dick North has dedicated much of his life to preserving and promoting the rich history of Yukon. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Jack London Interpretive Centre in Dawson City, where he continues to disseminate Yukon’s history to visitors and locals as a volunteer curator and guide. Known as the “bard of the North,” he writes popular historical books that weave tales of this storied region and help to preserve the cultural fabric of Canada’s North.
