Executive Director of the Mustard Seed Street Ministry since 1984, Pat Nixon draws on his own life experience to help others escape the cycle of addiction. Over the years, he has built strong partnerships, uniting the wider community's efforts to support its homeless citizens. The Mustard Seed has more than 3 000 volunteers who provide support to more than 450 people daily, offering services like a drop-in centre, a step-up program and newly expanded shelter facilities. A popular public speaker, he motivates others to action and sensitizes audiences to the great need among Calgary's less fortunate.
