Heather Ostertag is known for her skills as an administrator and for her devotion to Canadian musicians. Now president, she has spent much of her career with FACTOR (the Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records), an organization that supports the development and promotion of recording artists, from the first demo disc to international touring. She has also served on the boards of numerous industry organizations. Her contributions have been recognized with several honours, including membership in the RPM Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.
