Founder of the Centre médical-social des Monts, the Clinique de réadaptation pour alcooliques l'Escale, the Pavillon de la Montagne, an institution specializing in the treatment of child psychiatric cases, and the Centre de Travail polyvalent de la Gaspésie, a rehabilitation institute for the mentally handicapped, this psychiatric physician and Mayor of Ste-Anne-des-Monts has been of immense service to the Gaspé population.
