Always deeply involved in community activities in Navan, where she lived until 1982, since moving to Ottawa, she has thrown herself wholeheartedly into serving with the Shepherds of Good Hope, an organization established to feed and clothe the poor, shelter the homeless and visit the sick and incarcerated.
