Having entered the fishing industry nearly forty years ago, he headed the Canadian Fishing Company of Vancouver from 1966 to retirement this year. His unrivaled knowledge of the industry was tapped during his years as Canadian Commissioner to the International North Pacific Fisheries Commission. He has also rendered notable service to the Boy Scouts.
