She has written some ninety-two books on Cree language and methodology, and the history, traditions, herbal remedies and recipes of the Métis people. Working out of the cultural centre in Edmonton named in her honour, she continues to educate natives and non-natives alike, promoting cross-cultural awareness and instilling in her people pride in their heritage.
