After brilliant studies in the United States where he specialized in ophthalmology, he returned to Moncton. In addition to his medical work, he attaches great importance to the education and interests of Acadians. Presently Chancellor of the Université de Moncton, he is one of the most outstanding Acadian figures of our generation.
