A man of vision, John McLaughlin has significantly contributed to the innovation agenda in New Brunswick. Former president of the University of New Brunswick, he is highly regarded for building partnerships with other post-secondary institutions in the province to provide improved educational opportunities for students. His commitment to fostering economic and social development in his region has resulted in the creation of such initiatives and organizations as the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, the New Brunswick Business Council, and 21inc, a program that engages youth in planning for the province's future.
