James Dosman has worked tirelessly to protect the health and safety of farm workers and their families. Recognized as the father of agricultural medicine in Canada, he conducted pioneering research in a field that examines the health risks associated with agriculture. As the founding director of the Centre for Agricultural Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, he spearheaded numerous initiatives, including the Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture, and the Agricultural Health and Safety Network. Through his work, he has helped to stimulate research, develop guidelines and educate agricultural workers around the world.
