Bernard Richard has demonstrated outstanding social and political commitment, both as a parliamentarian and as New Brunswick’s sixth ombudsman. New Brunswick’s first child and youth advocate and British Columbia’s second representative for children and youth, he has distinguished himself by safeguarding the rights of children and youth in our First Nations communities, as well as nationally and internationally.
