Bernadette O’Reilly has profoundly impacted the lives of countless youth. An indispensable part of Rossbrook House for 40 years, she opened her arms and heart to all those accessing this safe, inclusive space in Winnipeg’s Centennial neighbourhood. An early pioneer in reconciliation, she ardently supported youth, education, interfaith initiatives and social justice, notably through the establishment of the Rising Sun high school program. A long-time co-executive director of the centre, she helped make this second home one of the city’s most respected institutions of its kind.
