Gordon Rawlinson is a model of corporate and personal philanthropy. As head of Rawlco Radio, a chain of radio stations in western Canada, he encourages his employees to promote and support initiatives that help to improve their local communities. His philanthropy has benefited educational, health care and arts organizations in Saskatchewan and Alberta. As well, he has initiated a program and funded scholarships at the University of Saskatchewan to encourage and support Aboriginal post-secondary students.
