A renowned author and historian, Vera Schiff has garnered international recognition for her moving discourse of the Holocaust. The sole member of her family to survive the Theresienstadt concentration camp, she has delivered riveting speeches and published numerous books recounting her experience, including the acclaimed Hitler’s Inferno. A former medical laboratory technologist at the Toronto General Hospital, she also worked as a former translator of Czech, Hebrew and German for the Ontario Court of Justice, where she assisted new immigrants as they navigated the legal system in Canada.
