From February 1 to April 1, 2022, in the midst of the conflict in Ukraine, Warrant Officer Paquette of the Canadian National Intelligence Centre, Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples, Italy, demonstrated exemplary professionalism, dedication, leadership and team spirit while serving as acting commanding officer. He continually compared and merged the intelligence of NATO allies with the more refined and highly classified intelligence of Canada and other allies. Warrant Officer Paquette’s expertise and intelligence assessment were essential to NATO’s decision-making cycle, which brought honour to Canada in an international context.
