Meritorious Service Medal (civil division)
A motivational speaker and a gifted athlete, Mr. Tewksbury won the Gold Medal in the one hundred metre backstroke and the bronze in the medley relay at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. He also swam the world's fastest fifty metre backstroke in 1991 and established a world record in the one hundred metre backstroke in 1992.
