Since launching the world’s first commercial rooftop greenhouse, the enterprise has expanded to include four greenhouses serving more than 20 000 clients a week. Customizable produce baskets can be ordered, assembled and delivered through the Farms’ unique online ordering platform and logistics software. Lufa Farms benefits the local economy, helps to reduce the city’s urban heat island effect, and improves food security for Montréal residents by enhancing their access to fresh, local food.
