Dr. Donald Winston Paty is credited with revolutionizing the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Between 1983 and 1986, he pioneered the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in the understanding and treatment of this disease. In addition, Dr. Paty established databases which have provided both new insights into factors which influence the disease and the basis for comprehensive management of MS. Dr. Paty has shared his skills and expertise with numerous international organizations, and enjoys a worldwide reputation as one of the top professionals in his field.
