    In 2018, to help combat poverty, Joy Xu founded STREAM Syndicate, a once nonprofit organization grown into a government-funded student-led charity that advocates for access to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and humanities education for marginalized young people. Through her leadership, she has profoundly transformed the country’s educational landscape and empowered countless youths.
