On March 20, 2010, Lee Page rescued an elderly man from a burning vehicle, in Hamilton, Ontario. Mr. Page was driving behind the vehicle when he noticed smoke coming from the back seat. He honked his horn to alert the driver, who pulled over in a nearby parking lot. The car stalled and immediately caught fire and filled with thick, black smoke. Extreme heat and flames prevented the victim from escaping. Mr. Page managed to open the door, unbuckle the victim's seat belt and pull the confused driver out moments before the car was consumed by the fire.
