    Coming upon a vehicle accident near Quesnel, British Columbia on March 7, 1987, Steven Earl Grover and Byron Frank Norn both risked their lives to save the driver of an automobile which had burst into flames upon impact with a pickup truck. Mr. Norn ran to the car, saw that the driver's legs were pinned under the steering wheel and immediately entered the car to stand on the seat and loosen the victim's legs. He then jumped out and with the assistance of Mr. Grover, pulled the unconscious man out of the car before the front compartment was engulfed by the fire.
