On May 28, 1993, twelve-year-old Clint Neville held at bay a bull that had charged his father at the family farm in Clearbrook, British Columbia. Hearing his father's calls for help, Clint rushed over to see him lying on the ground with a shattered leg and broken ribs, and the bull preparing for another attack. Without regard for his own safety, he ran to his father's side and struck the bull on the head with a piece of lumber he had picked up nearby. Clint stayed with his father and kept the enraged animal at bay until others could move the injured man out of danger.
