Or on a pile between two garbs Vert a falcon close Argent;

Symbolism

The gold and green allude to Saskatchewan, Dr. Reynolds’ birthplace. The green triangular shape represents the Alberni Valley, British Columbia, his home for over 50 years, and also his Irish ancestors. The white falcon is a symbol of his Icelandic forebears.

Issuant from a circlet of pine cones, two hands in saltire proper cuffed Argent before a serpent glissant Gules;

Symbolism

The crest symbolises Dr. Reynolds’ profession as a chiropractor with the hands in a typical “adjustment” position. The serpent represents a crooked spine. It is coloured red as a reference to Dr. Reynolds’ nickname, “Red”.
