Blazon

Azure a fess chequy Argent and Gules between in chief two horses' heads Argent each charged on the neck with a mullet Azure pierced Argent in base a Maltese cross Or;

Symbolism

The white horse of Kent is a charge used in the Macey’s arms and recalls Mrs. Coveney-Boyd’s maternal heritage. The checkered white and red band is a reference to the Boyd arms and honours her late husband. The Maltese cross of St. John signifies Mrs. Coveney-Boyd’s many years of service with St. John Ambulance and alludes to the fact that she is a Dame of Grace of the Venerable Order of St. John.

The cougar represents Mrs. Coveney-Boyd’s service in British Columbia. The collar of oak leaves is a reference to a charge from the Coveney arms, and the anchor symbolizes her career as a naval officer.
