Blazon

Vert a representation of the Nanaimo Bastion Argent between three fountains all within a bordure Or;

Symbolism

The colour green represents the lush grasses at the Nanaimo Golf Club course. The fountains are a reference to the water hazards golfers must negotiate. The representation of the Nanaimo Bastion symbolizes the historic building located in the City of Nanaimo, and emphasizes the golf course’s affinity to the city.

A demi cougar Or semé of lozenges Sable grasping in its dexter forepaw a golf putter a driver and a mid-iron Or heads upward Argent;

Symbolism

The black lozenges are taken from the arms of the City of Nanaimo and further indicate that the Nanaimo Golf Club is affiliated with the city. The cougar is an animal native to Vancouver Island, and it grasps three distinct types of golf clubs.
