Arms of Percy James CullimoreBlazonAzure a fess compony-counter-compony of nine Gules and Argent between in chief two crescents and in base a wheel, all within a bordure Or; SymbolismThe Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. Crescents are common in the arms of persons bearing the surname Colemore, of which Cullimore is a variation. The central band with the red and white rectangles is inspired by the yellow or white rectangular shapes on a red background that are also common in various Colemore arms. The border is a Scottish form of differencing. |
