The blue chevron with the gold stripe alludes to the dress trousers of the uniform of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), indicating Mr. Underhill’s career with this institution. The St. John’s wort flower refers to his long involvement with the Order of St. John, which uses this flower on its Medal of Service. |
