Sable a serpent wavy palewise, in chief a triple-towered castle its towers domed and flagged Or;

Symbolism

The Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. The snake appears in other arms used by Dane families in the British Isles. The castle, found in the seal of Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, is likely an indication that Mr. Dane’s ancestor, Paul Dane, served as Provost of Enniskillen (1687-1689).
