Badge of Aerospace Control / Aerospace Control Operator of the Royal Canadian Air ForceBlazonA maple leaf bendwise issuant from the base thereof three bendlets Gules surmounted in base by a segment of an orbit, in chief a like segment Argent, ensigned by the Royal Crown proper, environed by a laurel wreath Gules and flanked to the dexter by a wing fesswise Argent; SymbolismThe maple leaf and diagonal lines evoke a vessel in flight. Along with the orbit, they represent aerospace control. The Royal Crown symbolizes service to the Sovereign. The badge composed of one or two wings, a laurel wreath and the Royal Crown is common to all trade and occupational badges of the Canadian Armed Forces. |
