Blazon

Murrey a pallet Or entwined about by a serpent, on a chief Argent a saltire Azure;

Symbolism

The dark red evokes the colour of blood. The snake-entwined rod alludes to the rod of Aesculapius, the Greco-Roman god of medicine. The blue saltire on white is inspired by the arms and flag of Nova Scotia, where the Society is located.
