Blazon

Argent a sprig of three maple leaves Vert overall a fouled anchor Or surmounted by two swords in saltire proper and an eagle volant affronty head to the sinister, all within an annulus charged with a rope Or, ensigned by the Royal Crown proper and environed by four points in saltire surmounting a wreath of maple leaves, overall in base a scroll Or inscribed with the Motto in letters Sable;

Symbolism

The sprig of green maple leaves is taken from the emblem of the Junior Canadian Rangers. The central device of the badge of the Canadian Armed Forces is found on the cap badge of the Cadet Instructor Cadre. Together, these elements allude to the organizations that comprise the Group, namely the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and the Junior Canadian Rangers.

Symbolism

These Latin words mean “Youth, leadership, citizenship” and allude to the Group’s core tenets of focussing on youth while fostering leadership and good citizenship among young Canadians.
