The wavy band, representing one wave length of a mathematical sine curve, alludes to his mother’s birth name of Lorena Artilla Sine. The pike, or lucy, honours Major Fisher’s great-grandmother Lucy Ann Lay. The six-pointed stars represent the six major wars since 1759 in which both his maternal and paternal ancestors fought. |
