Blazon

A hurt, charged with a Martello tower Argent windows Azure issuant from a base wavy Argent and Azure and in chief an osprey volant Or, above a scroll Azure edged and inscribed with the Motto in letters Argent, all surmounting a fouled anchor proper its cord Or;

Symbolism

The osprey is a bird of prey found in the Kingston area and honours the VC 921 flying squadron which was commissioned in 1953 as a tender to Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship Cataraqui. The Martello tower recalls that the squadron operated out of the Kingston Flying Club until the unit was decommissioned in 1959. The anchor symbolizes the naval history of the Association.
