Gules on a Canadian pale Argent a maple leaf charged with the monogram of the Sovereign Or within an annulus Gules edged, inscribed ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE • AVIATION ROYALE CANADIENNE in letters Or, and ensigned with the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

As a branch of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Air Force uses as its Queen’s Colour the National Flag of Canada with the addition in the centre of the Sovereign’s monogram within an annulus bearing its designation and ensigned by the Royal Crown.
