Per fess Azure and Or on a fess Argent between in chief the constellation of Ursa Major Argent and in base a sprig of three maple leaves Vert two pens in saltire nibs downwards Gules surmounted by an open book proper clasped and edged Or;

Symbolism

The Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. The pens and the book possibly represent record-keeping as one of the essential activities of certified public accountants. The maple leaves represent Canada. The sprig of three maple leaves is also found in the arms of Ontario.
