Gules on a Canadian pale Argent a maple leaf charged with an annulus Gules, edged and inscribed THE • ESSEX • AND • KENT • SCOTTISH in letters Or, and ensigned with the Royal Crown proper;

Symbolism

As an infantry regiment, The Essex and Kent Scottish uses as its Queen’s Colour the National Flag of Canada with the addition of an annulus bearing its designation and ensigned by the Royal Crown.
